I woke up this morning thinking, "Where am I again?" It's rare that you get the opportunity to create in such an inviting and serene place.

Dear friends,

It's hard to believe the end of the year is just around the corner.  As all of us at Vineyard Arts Project look back on our 2011 season, we have much to celebrate and be thankful for:

- We doubled our number of artist residencies and served more than 100 artists

- We presented 18 public performances and open rehearsals, all at a pay-what-you-can admission 

- We created an Artist Talk series featuring theatre veterans James Lapine and Mandy Hackett

- We entered into partnerships with The Yard and the Chilmark Community Center

- We threw our first fundraiser, Art for Art, drawing our youngest, most diverse audience to date

But most importantly, Vineyard Arts Project established itself as a true home away from home for some of today's most promising playwrights, choreographers, directors, actors, dancers and musicians, all of whom were awestruck and inspired by the Island. 

Vineyard Arts Project provides an unforgettable experience.  To continue our great work in 2012, we need the help of our friends.
